Thousands of books relating to pharmacy and related areas, national and international journals, compact disc versions, scientific videotapes are the main highlights of the library. It is also provided with reprographic services and high speed internet connection with numerous terminals thereby assisting the faculty and students to acquire knowledge through sophisticated means.
Sports & Games
A well-established playground and a gym inside the campus helps the students to build up the physical mite of the users of these facilities. The students are trained in various outdoor games like basketball, cricket, volleyball, etc. and indoor games such as chess, table tennis, etc.
Cultural
Students from different parts of India seek knowledge from the college. Thus the campus not only serves to achieve academic pursuits but also provides an excellent opportunity to understand and of their own with other. They also celebrate the festive occasions in their own traditional way. Students also exhibit their excellence in various cultural activities like singing, dancing etc. under the aegis of the college's cultural committee.
BASKET BALL COURT
The Bwales International School provides a vegetarian diet for its pupils cooked in hygienic kitchen under the direction of a well qualified and experienced catering staff. Menu is kept changing every week which contains all nutritional value and at the same time every student will enjoy the tasty food. It will include breakfast lunch. Food is always checked by headmaster for quality.
CLASSROOMS
Oyster college of Pharmacy ensures quality education by imputing values to such concepts are: State-of-the art classrooms. Well designed and fully equipped laboratories. Faculty providing the excellence of teaching, training and research activities. Ample indoor and outdoor extracurricular activities. The classrooms are provided with modern teaching aids like multimedia projectors attached with Computers, Slide Projectors, Over Head Projectors etc. These facilities enable the teachers to make the students to get the cream in of knowledge acquisition. The laboratories stand as testimony to the excellence in architecture. The live demos and hand on training. with latest instruments enable confidence build up to work in Hospitals.
COMPUTER EDUCATION
Our school campus is under CCTV Surveillance. We monitor and keep track of activities taking place in school premises. We keep track of attendance of students, teachers and support staff along with ensuring they are all doing their work efficiently. CCTV Surveillance is useful in case of any emergencies. Safety of our students is very important to us so that parents have not to worry about their safety
PHARMACOGNOSY
This laboratory is well equipped with high magnification microscopes and apparatus required for extraction purposes. Research work is being carried out to identify herbal plants having high medicinal value. Various standardization procedures are developed for herbal drugs and their formulations.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Pharmaceutical chemistry is the application of chemical research techniques to the synthesis of pharmaceuticals. During the early stages of its development, scientists were primarily concerned with the isolation of medicinal agents found in plants. Today, scientists in this field are also equally concerned with the creation of new synthetic drug compounds. Pharmaceutical chemistry is almost always geared toward drug discovery and development. Studying pharmaceutical chemistry allows students to contribute to life-saving remedies, enhance the speed of delivery of new medications, and help others.
Department of Pharmacology
The pharmacological activities of newly synthesized drugs are tested here. A highly sophisticated animal house supplies the animals for this laboratory. Separate arrangements are made to breed these animals. (The animals include rabbits, mice, rats, guinea pigs, frogs, etc., which are legally allowed for doing experiments by the Government of India). E-learning is also available for such studies.
Department of Pharmaceutics
Pharmaceutics encompasses an understanding of the basic physical chemistry necessary for the efficient design of dosage forms. The students are trained to manufacture these medicines in both small and large scale. In the biotechnology laboratory the cultivation, avoidance and elimination of microorganism in medicines is studied in depth. Each department aims at having a special R & D wing and they are to open the new era in pharmaceutical care and drug therapy. The research labs are to be provided with highly sophisticated equipments like (HPLC), UV- Spectrophotometer, Dissolution Test apparatus, sonicatory, Incubators, etc. to envisage perfect outcome. The department of pharmaceutics is highly concentration on the Novel Drug Delivery Systems like microencapsulation, nanoparticles, liposomes, transdermal drug delivery systems and sustained release dosage forms.
